Season Rundown:
While the Charlotte Hornets drafted Shabazz Napier with the 24th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, his rights were soon traded to the HEAT. Napier was used sparingly at the beginning of the season, but he found his niche as the reserve point guard. Thanks to his preparation, Napier was ready for extended playing time when Dwyane Wade and Norris Cole dealt with some injuries in mid-November. In a six-game stretch that spanned from November 16-25, Napier averaged 12.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per contest while also shooting 50 percent from downtown.
