Reports: Miami Heat Guard Gerald Green Had to be Restrained, Hospitalized

Miami Heat guard Gerald Green was reportedly hospitalized after authorities were called to his Miami condominium following a commotion Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports. Witnesses tell TMZ that Green was “acting strange in the lobby of the condo … screaming at the top of his lungs.”

According to the Miami Herald, Green was not arrested, but was restrained on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital. Police were called and arrived on scene at 10:46 a.m. after Miami Fire and Rescue requested assistant due to a “combative patient” at the condo.

The Herald also confirmed that Mario Chalmers was at the condo with Green at the time and tried to help.
