Many NBA observers were eager to see how Justise Winslow would perform in summer play after the shooting guard from Duke was projected to be drafted within the top five and went 10th to the Miami Heat. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald catches up with what happened to Winslow during the Las Vegas Summer League and previously in Orlando play:
- "Winslow ended up missing three of the five games in Las Vegas (because of general soreness, the ankle injury and an appearance at the ESPY awards) and played only 23 combined minutes in the other two.
