The Miami Heat, in need of 3-point shooting, and have reached out to Marcus Thornton.
During the Miami Heat’s 71-70 win against the Brooklyn Nets during Orlando Summer League Sunday, the team combined to make just 1-of-18 shots from beyond the arc despite a well-played game otherwise.
Last season, the Heat finished ranked 24th in 3-point shooting percentage. In other words, long range shooting is a need in Miami, and they haven’t found many answers in Summer League.
It should come as no surprise, then, that the Heat have put some calls out to available 3-point shooting guards.
