It turns out the smoke hovering over Mario Chalmers for much of the summer and into the season was real.
According to Yahoo Sports, the Miami Heat guard of the last seven years has been traded to the Memphis Grizzlies along with wing James Ennis for veteran guard Beno Udrih and second-year big man Jarnell Stokes.
The move will save the Heat over $2 million in salary and more in luxury tax.
