After rumors have been swirling for days, the Miami Heat have reportedly agreed to trade injured center Meyers Leonard and a 2027 second round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Trevor Ariza.
Both ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic’s Shams Charania both reported on the proposed trade Wednesday afternoon. Wojnarowski is also reporting that Leonard is waiving his no-trade clause, because of the one-year Bird restriction in his current contract, in order for the deal to go through but he is not expected to be a part of the Thunder team this season.
