He claimed to be a trained killer who threatened to fatally knife anyone who came within six feet of him in violation of social distancing, but Pembroke Pines police call him an arsonist.
Joseph Ryan Papale, 29, of Pembroke Pines is facing several charges after fires were set at a 7-Eleven gas pump, a CVS pharmacy drive-up window, and on the rear of a car parked near his home, court records show.
According to arrest records, Papale was picked up April 20 for arson, criminal mischief and other charges. He remains in the Broward County Jail on bonds totaling $37,100.
