HEAT.com’s player spotlight for this past week features Tyler Johnson.
Despite Miami falling short in its last two games, Johnson continued to show his versatility on the offensive end. Whether it was drives to the rim, cuts to the basket or some of his usual set-shots, the combo guard delivered. As such, Johnson averaged 16 points per game on 52.2 percent shooting this past week. Perhaps more importantly, he tallied eight assists and didn’t commit a single turnover over the past two games. Throughout this season, Johnson’s improved playmaking skills have become a vital asset to the HEAT.
