James Johnson has become somewhat of a fixture in HEAT.com’s player spotlight series, which should come as no surprise given the versatility of the 30-year-old. Johnson’s playmaking ability was on full display in the HEAT’s short week back from the All-Star Break, as he led the team with 13 total assists over the past two games. The forward created for his teammates both in the halfcourt and in transition, with the latter occurring more often against the Pacers on February 25. As a result, Johnson ranked second on the team in pace (101.37) this past week behind only Goran Dragiu0107.
