NBA Free Agency: Heat to acquire Lowry in sign-and-trade deal and will re-sign Robinson

After days of rumors surrounding All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry, multiple reports are coming in that are confirming that the former Toronto Raptors champion will indeed join his good friend Jimmy Butler on the Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade deal.

Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Lowry’s deal is for three years, which was struck at the start of the NBA free agency period.

Lowry himself has confirmed the news on his Twitter account.

Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press is reporting that the Lowry deal has no player or team options.
