What was originally reported as a two-month injury could turn into a much longer recovery time for Miami Heat guard Tyler Johnson.
According to the Miami Herald, Johnson, who underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder Wednesday, is now targeting the playoffs in mid-April to return to the court.
“The doctors said it’s going to be two to three months before I can resume contact,” Johnson said. “It’s a possibility [I could be back for the playoffs]. But we’ve just got to see.
“Again, we’re not trying to rush it back.
