After a promising rookie season with the Miami Heat, Justise Winslow has been named to the 2016 Men’s Select Team, USA Basketball announced.
The 25-man roster will train with the 2016 USA Basketball Men’s National Team during its camp in Las Vegas from July 18-21.
Winslow has previously won three gold medals as part of the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship, the 2013 FIBA U19 Championship and the 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship teams.
This is a pretty cool honor for Winslow, who represented the Heat well during his rookie season. Teammates repeatedly touted his maturity and work ethic, and those attributes will translate well to USA Basketball.
