Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh won’t play in All Star Game due to strained calf

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh won’t participate in All Star weekend in Toronto due to a strained calf, according to multiple reports.

Bosh will not participate in the All Star Game or the 3-point contest. The news was originally reported by Yahoo Sports and USA Today.

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Al Horford will replace him in the All Star Game.

It’s unclear how Bosh strained his calf. He played 35 minutes in Miami’s loss the the San Antonio Spurs Tuesday–the last game before the All Star break. He’s started all 53 games for the Heat this season.
