The Miami Heat will sign center Keith Benson to a training camp deal, reports RealGM. Benson will be the fourth center on the training camp roster.
Benson was selected 48th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. In 2012 he signed with the Golden State Warriors, where he played in three games.
The 27-year-old center played college ball at Oakland University from 2007 to 2011, where in his senior year he averaged nearly 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 3.6 blocks per game. Since 2012, Benson has played in the D-League and overseas in Lithuania and Estonia.
