Brace yourselves Miami Heat fans: more bad news has hit South Florida.
Point guard Goran Dragic has missed 12 of the last 14 games with a right knee injury, and now he’ll miss more; it was announced earlier today that the veteran underwent surgery on that knee on Wednesday. And that after having it successfully cleaned up, Dragic is looking at continuing to be sidelined for up to two months.
Which puts his return at about the All-Star break.
So far this season, he has averaged about 14 points per game, on 41 percent shooting from the field, having last played against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 10, totaling just seven points on 3-of-9 shooting in 18 minutes.
