Miami Heat Remain Willing to Trade Mario Chalmers

Despite the rumor mill slowing down, the Miami Herald reports that the Miami Heat are still willing to trade Mario Chalmers, though expect to bring him in for training camp.

The Heat expects to bring Mario Chalmers to training camp but hasn’t ruled out trading him if it can find a taker, something it hasn’t been able to do to this point.

It is also reported that there is no edict by owner Micky Arison to trim payroll, but the Heat would prefer to lower its incoming luxury tax bill that is expected to cost more than $20 million with the current roster.
