Big man Jarnell Stokes has been recalled by the Miami Heat from the team’s D-League affiliate the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the team announced today. He will be available for Miami’s game against the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night.
Stokes has started in seven games in two different stints with the Skyforce, helping them to a 6-1 record, while averaging 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.29 steals, 1.14 blocks and 29.0 minutes while shooting 65.9 percent from the field.
He finished with the second-highest field goal percentage in the Development League while posting two double-doubles and scoring at least 20 points in four contests.
