With the August 1 deadline having came and went, the Miami Heat have partially guaranteed guard Tyler Johnson’s contract for the 2015-16 season. He will receive at least half of his $845,059 salary.
That gives the Heat 14 players whose contracts are at least partially guaranteed.
James Ennis, the 15th player currently on the roster, originally had a deadline the same as Johnson. However, both the Heat and Ennis decided to push back that deadline to opening night, at which time it will become fully guaranteed if he is still on the roster.
