MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat announced Tuesday evening they have suspended Gerald Green for two games for conduct detrimental to the team.
Green’s suspension started immediately and will miss Tuesday’s game against the Lakers and Thursday’s game versus Utah. He will rejoin the team on Friday.
“I want to apologize to my family, fans and the Heat organization,” said Green. “I accept the suspension and look forward to rejoining my teammates this weekend.”
Green was taken to the hospital last Wednesday for an undisclosed reason following an incident outside his condo building.
