Hassan Whiteside, who missed another Miami Heat practice with a strained right calf, doesn’t seem likely to play in the team’s next preseason game against the San Antonio Spurs Monday. On the plus side, his recovery is going in the right direction.
“The pain went away. I’d say I’m at about 70-75 percent,” Whiteside said after the team practiced Saturday morning.
Chris Bosh (illness) and Amar’e Stoudemire (rest) also missed practice Saturday, but they aren’t expected to miss preseason games, according to the team.
