The Miami Heat on Monday got encouraging news concerning Kevin Love, who left Sunday night’s Game 3 win early in the first quarter with an apparent leg injury. According to coach Erik Spoelstra, Love is probable for Tuesday’s Game 4.
“Great news from this morning,” Spoelstra said following Miami’s practice on Monday.
With just over seven minutes left in the first quarter of the Heat’s 128-102 victory over the Boston Celtics to take a 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals, Love checked out of the game and did not return. Three minutes into the game, Love asked to be subbed out after missing a jumper.
