The Miami Heat’s training camp roster is now up to 18 players with the signing of guard Larry Drew II, with whom the club is already familiar.
The Heat announced the signing of Drew, 27, Tuesday. He has previously been in Miami’s training camp in 2013 and 2014, and played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in each of the last four seasons.
In 96 career games with Sioux Falls, Drew averaged 10.8 points, 7.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 33.6 minutes while shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 41.6 percent from 3-point range. He also holds the G-League single-game record with 23 assists.
