The Miami Heat were active at the NBA’s Trade Deadline, acquiring Victor Oladipo, Trevor Ariza, and Nemanja Bjelica to bolster their forces for a potential run down the stretch and into the NBA’s postseason. With the newly acquired pieces in tow, along with a renewed confidence shown by Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro, the Miami Heat were starting to look as though they were gelling.
On a bit of a winning streak, until they faced the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, the Miami Heat would be blasted in the paint by Jonas Valanciunas and then taken advantage of at all three levels by Dillon Brooks in the third period.
