He just can't let it go...
Every time the Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks play each other, Mark Cuban has bad memories. He doesn't think of the 2011 NBA Finals, he thinks of the 2006 NBA Finals. The one where Dwyane Wade dominated and led his team to the championship.
But that's not how Mark remembers it.
"I think about Jack Nees. I think about Bennett Salvatore," Cuban said, naming a couple of retired referees. "I think about 937 free throws." Added Cuban: "It's the only Finals where you had other players asking if it's fixed.
