The Los Angeles Lakers likely aren't looking to trade for Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler because of the $48.8 million he is set to make this season, according to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel.
The Lakers are focusing on adding "frontcourt help and two-way wings" this winter in part because the team "does not want to bring in another hefty salary like Butler's at this juncture," Siegel reported.
Siegel described the Golden State Warriors as the "favorites" to trade for Butler, while naming the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder as other possible candidates for the Heat star.
