Kelly Olynyk is everything the Heat wanted Josh McRoberts to be for them.

Pat Riley wanted a versatile big that could spread the floor, push the ball, and be a willing passer in the offense.

In the summer of 2014, he signed Josh McRoberts to a 4-year, $23 million deal in an effort to convince LeBron James to return to the Heat. He was coming off a year where he averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game and made a significant contribution to the Charlotte Hornets success.

But as we all know, things did not play out as planned.
