Josh Richardson has agreed to a 4-year, $42-million contract extension with the Miami Heat, which includes a player option on the fourth year.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news late Wednesday after “Richardson's agents with BDA Sports, Bill Duffy and Erik Kabe, finalized several weeks of talks with Heat officials.”
Richardson is an integral member of the Heat’s young nucleus after being drafted 40th overall in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft with his versatility, defense and outside shooting but has also been plagued with injuries and inconsistency. He averaged 10.
