The Miami HEAT teamed up with Florida Blue, FOX Sports Sun and the American Red Cross and surprised some young swimmers during their swimming lessons this past Monday, July 25th at the Bucky Dent Water Park. As part of the HEAT Learn to Swim community water safety campaign, HEAT Players Tyler Johnson and Josh Richardson and 2012 USA Olympic gold medalist swimmer Claire Donahue made the surprise visit. They were joined by HEAT P.A. Announcer Michael Baiamonte, Florida Blue Senior Director of Business Development Doug Bartel, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, and American Red Cross Regional CEO Alfred Sanchez, who provided instruction to the children.
