The Miami Heat are working towards a contract agreement for Udonis Haslem to return for a 14th season, sources have reported to the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman.
Haslem had been seeking a deal worth more than the veteran minimum and it appears as if Miami will be willing to do it. Retaining one of the Heat Lifers integral to their team's culture and a solid locker room presence for the younger players also adds to the appeal for the veteran, who recently turned 36 on June 9, to return beyond what he can provide on the court.
