MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat have made a couple of moves as Thursday’s NBA Trade Deadline approaches.
Miami announced that the team has traded Jarnell Stokes and cash considerations to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for a conditional 2018 second round pick.
Stokes only appeared in five games for the Heat this season but was very successful playing for Miami’s D-League affiliate in Sioux Falls, averaging 20.6 points on 67.3 percent shooting, 10.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.06 steals in 30.
