The Miami Heat recalled swingman Derrick Jones Jr. from Sioux Falls on Wednesday afternoon – a move made to add a little depth to the roster in light of three rotation players dealing with injuries.
Coach Erik Spoelstra said forward Kelly Olynyk (left shoulder) is doubtful to play in Wednesday’s game against the Houston Rockets and he listed guard Wayne Ellington (shoulder) as questionable.
“It happened in the last game probably two plays after KO,” Spoelstra said of Ellington’s injury. “He was able to finish that. I don’t think it’s as significant as KO. We’ll see tonight.
