The Miami Heat decided to fully guarantee A.J. Hammons’ contract for the 2017-18 season Sunday, according to the Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman. The move means that Hammons will receive his entire $1.3 million salary; about $400,000 of that total was guaranteed today.

Hammons, who came to the Heat in the Josh McRoberts trade last summer, has yet to play in a game for Miami.
