Heat extend qualifying offer to Derrick Jones Jr.

Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reported today that the Miami Heat extended a qualifying offer to Derrick Jones Jr. for another two-way contract. The move will make Jones a restricted free agent July 1, allowing the Heat to match offers from other teams.

Heat have extended qualifying offer to Derrick Jones Jr. for two way contact value of $77,250. No qualifying offer for Derrick Walton Jr. yet. Deadline is June 29.
