The Miami Heat announced Tuesday that they have assigned forward Jarnell Stokes to their D-League affiliate Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Acquired along with point guard Beno Udrih in the Nov. 10 trade with the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Mario Chalmers and James Ennis, Stokes has yet to appear in a game with the Heat.
Strokes was selected with the 35th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz, and was later traded to the Grizzlies. He played 19 games with the Grizzlies during the 2014-15 season, averaging 3.
