The Miami HEAT defeated the Detroit Pistons 99-93 Tuesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Joe Johnson led the way for the HEAT with 25 points.
1. Cool Joe
When things mattered most in crunch time, Johnson came through like he always has throughout his 14-year career. The vet had 15 points in the fourth quarter on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting, including a huge corner three that put Miami up 96-89 with 46.5 seconds remaining in the contest. He also threw a great lob to Hassan Whiteside earlier in the period.
While his play in the fourth changed the game, Johnson also had a nice burst in the third quarter when the HEAT needed a jolt of energy.
