The Miami HEAT defeated the Utah Jazz 82-79 Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in the Samsung Las Vegas Summer League. Below are some takeaways from the game.
1- Josh Richardson Continues To Be Aggressive On Both Ends
It’s no secret that the HEAT drafted Richardson due to his defensive prowess at Tennessee. Throughout Summer League, Richardson has lived up to his reputation and has proven to be a solid defender on the perimeter. In particular against the Jazz, he relentlessly closed out to challenge jump shooters and crashed the offensive boards. As a result, he led Miami with 16 points on 50 percent shooting and also grabbed seven rebounds on Saturday night.
