The Miami HEAT defeated the Houston Rockets 105-100 Saturday night at Toyota Center. Gerald Green led the way for the HEAT with 21 points.
1. Finally, The Starting Five
While the HEAT’s projected starting lineup of Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh and Hassan Whiteside all played together in Thursday’s scrimmage, Saturday night was their first action against another opponent. All the continuity that Erik Spoelstra and Wade have talked about the past few weeks can now really come to fruition.
The starting unit played pretty well with each other against the Rockets, but it will take some time for them to gel.
