The Miami Heat’s modest three-game win streak is no more after a tough night in a 116-87 blowout loss to the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
After a competitive first quarter in which the Heat knocked down five of their first nine shots from beyond the arc, the Bucks clamped down on their defense and overpowered them on the other end of the court as they gradually upped their lead significantly in the third quarter to effectively put the game away. Miami scored 32 points in the first quarter but only scored 55 the rest of the way, scoring no more than 19 points in any of the subsequent quarters.
