Miami Heat reserve guard Gerald Green will rejoin his team this week, but must first endure a two-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team. Green spent four days in a Miami hospital last week, after it was reported that he had been seen “bleeding” and “unconscious” outside his Miami condo.
The Heat are keeping this one pretty close to the chest, as they’ve released no details on the specifics of the incident. Team officials do, however, state Green is “safe and healthy” and looking forward to getting back on the court.
“I want to apologize to my family, fans and the Heat organization,” Green said in a statement released by the team.
