The Miami Heat will reportedly be without shooting guard Gerald Green for two more games.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Miami suspended the wing scorer for two contests. Wojnarowski added that sources said the team punished Green for “detrimental conduct,” and he will return Friday following games against the Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz.
Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel noted Green was recently hospitalized for an undisclosed reason. Head coach Erik Spoelstra was not specific when he addressed the situation, but he did mention Green was healthy and safe during his hospital stay.
