Gerald Green returned to Miami Heat practice on Saturday for the first time since the incident that led to his hospitalization and suspension.
“I’m just trying to just get over this situation,” Green told reporters Saturday, via the Miami Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman. “I can’t apologize enough to the residents that lived in my building, my fans who supported me and definitely my family.
“That was a situation that I’m not proud of. But I’m ready to move forward. I’m ready to continue with the team’s goals. I’m ready to be with my brothers.”
Green didn’t take questions or offer any new details in speaking to the press.
