Game Recap: Heat lock down Spurs, win 95-88

1st Quarter:

The Heat started this one off slow, with nobody seemingly being able to make a bucket. Fortunately the Spurs struggled from the field too. Miami would break out of it with a Wayne Ellington three and a Winslow blocking foul and one. The Heat were grooving on a 15-0 run.

Miami really took advantage early, but the Spurs hung in there…mostly because Miami went through one of their signature scoring droughts.

Josh Richardson struggled, despite putting himself in great positions to score.

2nd Quarter:

Richardson hit a three early on to kind of break out of his slump, and pad the Heat lead, but he was still unable to convert on any of his drives.
