Whiteside's 19 points only ranked him fourth in the game (behind the second, third, and fourth stars), but he matched it with 19 boards (four offensive), two assists, two blocked shots, and a plus-11 rating. He made six-of-11 shots from the field and seven-of-eight from the line in 34:10 off the bench. His free throw shooting turnaround has been nothing short of remarkable. After making 55.2% of his attempts prior to the all-star break, he has made 28 of his last 30. This was Whiteside's 12th First Star, and his 32nd overall appearance.
It's been impressive.
