Dwyane Wade passes Jordan, sets NBA record for blocks by guard

Dwyane Wade made NBA history on Monday night when he recorded his 1,052nd block in his career. That helped him eclipse Michael Jordan for the most career blocks in NBA history by a guard.

Jordan, who has had that honor for the last 20 years was passed by Wade. The career totals include both the regular season and playoff statistics.

Dwyane Wade has always been a great shot blocker, and at 6’4 it is incredible feat for him to be able to hold onto this record. Move over Michael, you are no longer the GOAT (at shot blocking).
