The Miami Heat’s official Twitter account announced that the team had sent forward Duncan Robinson back to their G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Robinson is on a two-way contract with the Heat, which allows him to spend up to 45 days with Miami and the rest of the season with the Skyforce. He last played mop-up duty during the Heat’s 29-point win over the Brooklyn Nets on March 2.
Barring injuries, it will be hard to envision Robinson playing much for the Heat this year. Erik Spoelstra has found a forward rotation he likes in Justise Winslow, Kelly Olynyk and Derrick Jones Jr.
