There was good news and bad news for the Heat on Monday.
The good news is starting point guard Goran Dragic is expected to play in Monday’s road game against the Pistons after missing Saturday’s loss to the Hawks with pain in his right foot. The bad news is starting center Hassan Whiteside will miss the contest in Detroit with a right knee injury.
Whiteside injured his knee during Saturday’s loss in Atlanta. He will undergo tests in Miami on Tuesday to further evaluate the issue.
“Things are going to happen,” coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday morning after the Heat’s shootaround.
