Derrick Jones Jr. back with Skyforce

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman reported Tuesday evening that Derrick Jones Jr., one of the Miami Heat’s players on a two-way contract, was back with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Derrick Jones Jr. is back in the G League, playing for the Sioux Falls Skyforce tonight. He has two NBA days left on his two-way contract, with that restriction ending Saturday.

Two-way contracts allow NBA teams to hold 16th and 17th roster spots for players who can spend 45 days with their NBA team and the rest of the season with their G League affiliate.
