The opportunity has arrived for the undrafted guard out of Arkansas.
After an impressive summer of work, your Miami HEAT has exercised the two-way player conversion option in the contract of Daryl Macon.
Macon, who was originally signed by the HEAT on September 20, appeared in four preseason games with Miami totaling 13 points, two rebounds and two assists in 31:43 minutes of action while shooting 41.7 percent (5-of-12) from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from the foul line.
Macon, who signed a two-way contract with Dallas last season, split the 2018-19 season between the Mavericks and the Texas Legends of the NBA G League.
