Chris Bosh Illness: Updates on Heat PF's Recovery from Blood Clots

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh has had his last two seasons shortened due to blood clots, and his status for the 2016-17 campaign is now reportedly up in the air following a recurrence of those issues.

Citing a source Friday, the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reported, "A complication has arisen in medical tests involving Heat forward Chris Bosh, derailing his attempted comeback."

Specifically, Jackson said there is "evidence of some continued clotting and is believed to be related to one of two previous blood clot episodes."

Jackson added that while the clots are not considered life-threatening, Bosh will need to be back on medication, and playing with them is "unrealistic.
