The Miami HEAT defeated the Chicago Bulls 129-111 Tuesday night at AmericanAirlines Arena. Hassan Whiteside led the way for the HEAT with 26 points.
1. A Career Night for Whiteside
Even though Whiteside had a solid first half and made the Bulls pay from the foul line, his eruption in the fourth quarter was quite the spectacle. In fact, the center scored 14 of his career-high 26 points in the final period alone. He did so on a number of great finishes inside, both off aggressive drives and catches in the post. Not to mention, Whiteside had a monster and-one alley-oop that put Miami up 121-106 with 2:53 left to effectively seal the deal.
